Currently the worst blogger ever.
Anyway I post my art and scribbles here and generally do not reblog.
Catching Elephant is a theme by Andy Taylor
Quick birthday gift for my brother, who is working oceans away from home. Didn’t want to draw a lighting bolt.
I’ll be reposting at least one picture of mine that has already cycled through tumblr a thousand times before. This is just so I can link back to the original deviantart page.
But whatever, that’s the point of tumblr. This is also a status post, for this blog and dA, that not a lot of cool new things will show up because I’m always rushing to do school art which then stays at school. Unfortunately that’s been a constant for me, haha. I guess I’m just making this tumblr look pretty even though I have no idea what I’m doing.
Lastly, thank you for following, commenting, or whatever nice things all you crazy wonderful people do.
Thank you (‘:
I’m definitely pursuing it in a career! Though I’m unsure exactly where I’ll go with it… Illustration looks like the best option, but animation catches my heart as well. Whatever the case, it’ll always be my cherished hobby.
Just a day and an idea with ashdenej for a character. The random generator made the fedora, not us, I swear.
Since Uganda is getting a lot of interest on the internet right now, I figured it was important to try to present an alternative source of information. Invisible Children is, as many already know, a highly problematic organization, but that shouldn’t stop you from trying to help. Here are some other sources of information, statistics, and ways to donate/help.
- American Progress’s 2007 report, “What to Do About Joseph Kony”
- Amnesty International’s 2011 report on Uganda
- Global Security’s page on the Lord’s Resistance Army
- Washington Post, “A Child’s Hell in the Lord’s Resistance Army,” May 2006.
- HRW: “Protect civilians from LRA abuses,” May 2011
- AllAfrica.com, “Amnesty International wants Kony arrested,” May 2010
- AI’s Uganda Portal
- Human Rights Watch’s Uganda portal
- Democracy Now!’s Uganda portal

Late picture is late!
e: this is my submission for the album art contest
So my ultimate goal for the homestuck album art contest was to just submit my picture. For me that is a big thing - I would feel accomplished even if I didn’t get a place (there are tons of great entries anyway, I’m sure…). Also, I know at least one person would be disappointed if I didn’t finish. I was really close to, well, giving up, especially with all the other stuff I should do.
Turns out I glossed over the fact it had to be submitted by midnight EST aaaaand well I did it thirty minutes past that as I’m in CST. derp
Bluh. I’ll post the image later when things are said and done. I don’t have much else to post here; I still feel flooded with… incredibly annoying design projects.
