I’m so sorry, I’m not sure when this was sent, or if this is in time for RTX 2015. But for reference to anyone: I’m happy for asks about this but yes it is alright to cosplay these designs or even alter them from the designs. Especially since some little parts of it were inspired by other artists.
The backpack is simply Banjo’s backpack, though I didn’t use a ref when drawing it… because i was being lazy… the icon in the middle is Rareware’s symbol; it’s up to you if you want to keep that. It may be worth looking at the in-game version, as it’s simpler and doesn’t have the icon (search Banjo Kazooie backpack maybe?)
or there’s the nuts ‘n bolts version, and while many mourn the game’s existence, i think the backpack’s pretty cute if you want that kind of look.

I started a bit of work on my wings for Lindsay’s MC skin! I’m going off this design by zephyrkit ! Not sure how I’m gonna make these look like a poncho of wings, may turn out just a bit different than the design but nonetheless I’m excited to cosplay one of my role models B)
WOAH HOW COOL?? Ahhhhhh this is really cool!! I’m sorry, this was quickly done (those are gold feathers on the belt, but in a hurry to post I never defined it) and i don’t really have any advice on cosplay… though those wing shawls that have been going around tumblr kinda remind me of that. Of course they could also be more stiff to hold their own shape, whatever would be better…!!! what am I saying I know nothing about cosplay.. your cosplays are lovely, by the way, and I hope you have fun!
